Adventure Day

So we were at home today ... thinking it was way too nice to be home, so spur of the moment we jumped into the car and took off to West Virginia. We figured we should take advantage of our last weekend with no puppy! (who by the way we met on Friday ... too cute for words)

So we went to Harper's Ferry: which among many things was the starting place for Lewis and Clark's expedition; starting place for George Washington's surveying career; Place where John Brown's Rebellion took place; and also where the first African American College in West Virginia was built! What a fun day!

    it must be so fun to live around all that history... i would love that! i thought lewis and clark's expedition started in st louis..? i guess i need to learn more haha. i love spur of the moment trips like that. so fun!

    well ... maybe west va is trying to steal st louis fame?! ... it looks like the came from the East but maybe their "technical" starting point was your old home town :)
